Weight Loss Programs and rapid weight loss
Written by InsideAdmin on June 10, 2008 – 5:12 pm -Weight loss programs vary and whether you have decided on a rapid weight loss plan or one where you lose weight more slowly and steadily, your other weekly commitments will have a bearing on how successful you are. Successful weight loss requires a special commitment that cannot be underestimated and any weight loss program should be taken seriously as there are a number of things to consider. The speed at which a person will lose weight depends on many factors; some of these are listed here:
Genetic conditions
Psychological problems
Attitude towards improving their health
A person’s weight can cause severe mental and physical anguish. Of all the changes that happen to a person when they start to regain their old weight, it is those of being happy with what they are achieving that is the most pleasing. It must be said that most rapid weight loss programs will require some form of emotional support from close friends or relatives; regular exercise and a healthy nutritious diet are also going to be part of this plan. This will require a regular and routine exercise period every day of about fifteen minutes, preferably a cardiovascular program and a diet that is flexible enough to incorporate personal tastes.
Remember that even though there are many rapid weight loss plans available, everyone is different so not all will work; some people will have faster success than others; this is perfectly normal and is not an indication of failure. If you are finding that the weight is not being lost as quickly as it should be then perhaps you will need to adapt your exercise routine to something that is more arduous and change part of your diet plan to increase energy levels. Your body should tell you whether your program is working so you need to listen to it and if you find that the diet you have chosen is not the right one then change it.
You would be wise to choose an exercise method that suits your physical abilities so if all you are able to do is walk then that is fine; however, try to improve the pace you walk at as your diet progresses, remembering that you will look better when your fat is converted into muscle. Drinking water regularly throughout the day is very important; whether on a rapid weight loss program or not, don’t forget the benefits of at least six 8oz glasses of water each day because it also flushes out nasty toxins as well. Keep away from fried foods especially deep-fried as they contain a great amount of fat and whilst fish and chicken appear leaner than beef, this white meat can contain more fat than when beef is fried.
It is recommended for those on a strict diet to opt for grilled food as this contains a smaller amount of fat after the food has been cooked. It is not a good idea to cut out carbohydrates altogether as they are the fuel your body needs to keep going. If you follow this plan, you will be losing a little over a pound a day, but once you stop this routine of only 1000 to 1500
