Advice for effective weight reduction

Written by InsideAdmin on February 3, 2008 – 12:13 am -

Here we give you information for everyone wanting to go down in weight, and this is what we believe is some very valuable advice in order to make your time spent on weight reduction become easier and more effective. More advice about weight control and health will continue to come soon.

Drink a lot of water!

Two litres per day is a minimum. If you don’t drink enough water during the day, you will experience that your weight reduction goal becomes way more difficult to succeed. The body needs waters in order to get rid of substances the body no longer has any use for. An advice for you that has difficulty drinking water is to take two glass of water before each main meal, and before you eat lunch during the day. The body does not know difference between hunger and thirst, so by adding water in your body you can reduce the unnecessary hunger feelings.

Eat small snacks between meals.

Even if you want to go down in weight, it can be good to eat small snacks before main meals. If you only eat three meals per day and ignores the in between-meal snacks, then the body has nothing to work with. Some advice on good between-meal snacks are things like: Broccoli, cottage cheese, most vegetables, fruits (remember to be a little careful if you want to go down in weight)

Workout.

Not everyone wanting to losing weight has to go to the gym or fitness center to get the extra pounds of the body, but it’s really recommend. Besides don’t you want to do something about your whole body and shape it up, and get a good-looking body as well? Muscles increase the fat burning processes which mean that if you build yourself additional muscles, then your weight loss effects will rapidly increase.

Don’t Measure your weight every day, instead you should do it once a week
Your weight is bound on going up and down, and it can become a huge stress factor if you weigh yourself too often and then don’t see the results you’re looking for.

Be realistic

It takes time to go down in weight and an approximate rate of 0.5-1kg weight decline per week can be a normal goal. However prepare yourself that you might not be able to reach that goal, and don’t become negative, always try to find positive things about your results. If you cheat a day or two, don’t let it ruin your motivation, you can still do something about that.
